I like the intensity of the color of the foreground against the overexposed background. That meets the challenge well. It looks like your shot might be suffering a bit of chromatic abberation (especially in the center of the flower) though due to some lens flare, a less direct angle may have minimized it. Regardless, a nice image to look at.
