Amaretto on the...by qachykComment by f-32: I LOVE the idea! I wonder if there would have been a more appealing reflection in either a) a more diffused flash, or b) a light source such as... daylight? |

Moonlight Sonataby qachykComment by frisca: the dark and the blur don't really add to the composition here, in my mind. I get the darkness part (moonlight) but why this angle, and why is the hand so terribly out of focus? I guess I'm missing it. |

Amaretto on the...by qachykComment by Olyuzi: I don't like the composition or viewpoint of this shot and the specular hightlight on the top of the bottle is very distracting. I think it would have been more effective had the bottle been laying on it's side with maybe some seaweed around to suggest it had been washed up on shore. I also think a close up of the bottle would have been better so that you don't see all those rocks. You've also lost detail in the top of the bottle which is as distracting as the highlight below it. |

Amaretto on the...by qachykComment by autool: I like your idea but the flash didn't help you much. You might try diffusing your flash to get rid of the blown out area on the bottle, or just do it in daylight. It would also help if you didn't center the subject. 5 |

Moonlight Sonataby qachykComment by ruthiek: I like the idea, but there seems to be no focus in this photo at all and, for me, that makes it very hard to look at. |

Moonlight Sonataby qachykComment by adine: Interesting angle. The piano keys hanging there like the moon in the sky...I'm not sure it works for me. The dark cool lighting and lack of focus also makes me think of the moon, but even the moon cuold be brighter and provide more distinction to what it shines on. The blur of the fingers in motion riminds you of how music moves. However the fingers don't look so recognizable - perhaps a little more light or inclusion of more than 3 fingers would help. The crop on the keyboard is also awkward - none of the lines matching up with the frame of the picture everything is a jumble of angles. You have a lot of nice ideas it just doesn't come together for me. |
