Fence works here to put up a symbolic barrier to the things beyond. It's like these common elements of "urban" environment are unobtainable or unreachable.

Yay. Pictures of home!

This is neat. I've always loved looking up at the Sears Tower from the ground, and when I travelled it was always one of the first things I looked for coming home.

Nice match of colour intensity on the contrasting two complementary tones. If this was mere happenstance as seems likely, very good choice of angles so that each colour gets about half the space. (It's good even if you did set it up, but it's harder when you work with what's there already, neh?)

Even though it might not have been your intention with the entry, it's a perfect analogy to me. The matrix is all about perspective.

*Critique Club*
I will try to elaborate on what I said in my first critique of this shot.
First, I mentioned that it was a bit cluttered. The glare on the car, and the windows of the building add elements that don't need to be there. Had the car and buildings not been in the background, I think that it might be a bit better. Or maybe if the buildings were more plain and simple, they wouldn't be such a distraction.
I said that the colors don't jump out as much as I thought they should. This could be due to lighting conditions, however it could also be due to the fact that there are similar colored items in the background, making them almost blend in with the background.
Your focus and clarity looks good. It does get a bit fuzzy on the white box to the right, but that's not really an important part of the shot. Actually, it could probably be cropped out seeing as that white wasn't really a part of the challenge.
Someone mentioned a funny perspective. I am assuming that you probably used a wide angle lens for this? Sometimes that will distort things so that everything on the outside edges tilts inward.

I really dont get what this is. It almost looks like the photo was taken from under glass on which there is a pool of water, even though the right edge gives it away that its a mirror. But what is actually reflected in the mirror?

This is the neatest picture! I can't help but wonder how you did that though. Good angle, I love the cracks in the building to the right, well done.

I can't really make out what's going on, and I wish the shot was maxed out to the available dimensions.. but this is a very cool shot, as it looks like reality is definately being stretched here.
