A nice choice of flowers to show in this life and death challenge.

The focus is not on the right part of the flower, it should be on the front part, what i can see of what is in focus is good details and colour.

Moving to a different angle would have helped with this shot. Your background is a nice buttery soft green, which is good.

If this plant is still around, take this shot again, because it would be worth it as it is excellent

Well, technically, the horses above the colt are above him and you are above him. I'm afraid not far enough above him. It is important to read the challenge descriptions and there are always threads about the current challenge going on. These you may find helpful for ideas and more indepth discoussions about the description of the challenge. Try isolating the colt the next time.

The colt is in sharp focus, just has a rump in the way of his rump, play around with positioning and you will be surprised at what you may find. You have good clear clarity going on throughout the photo, you AP was perfect, ISO and Shutter spot on.

Post Processing, don't be afraid to play with selective colours and the black and white. The shadow highlights will give more contrast as well.

Interesting composition. A little tight on the top and I am not sure the negative space to the right works because it is cluttered with partially focused subjects. The colors are very nice.
