Self Portraitby mecfcostaComment by ajschmidt: Looks over smooth. a lower iso speed or less noise reduction would help. Noise is not always bad. 4

Self Portraitby mecfcostaComment by gruvin: Focus, depth, composition, levels and cropping all excellent. Nice and soft and well suited to the pose. The necklace actually adds to the image providing asymmetric reference imo. Nails are dressed well for the occasion. Had spot-editing been allowed, the reflection in the nostril and small wall shadow on backdrop could be removed for good effect. 9! Good luck! |

Self Portraitby mecfcostaComment by neonv: nice framing, but the focus is a but blurry and the light is too soft... good neck line though, hand plays good in shot... small white dot at lower right confuses me visually, a bit though |

Self Portraitby mecfcostaComment by fotodude: unfortunitly there is a small object in the nose of the artist or possible a clomp of hairs that take away from the shot.
otherwise i c no prob. with the pic.
except the grayscale which is incomplete |

Brazilby mecfcostaComment by K-Rob: It looks like you were just off with the composition, but it's a clever idea. The lighting might work betterif it was facing the coin as well as opposed to the overhead lighting which makes the finger cast a shadow on the coin. |

Brazilby mecfcostaComment by Konador: The contrast looks a bit flat. It looks like the fingers were over exposed but you tried to hide that by reducing brightness and contrast, but that just made the photo look dull. |

Brazilby mecfcostaComment by techtraum: Good idea. Could be improved just by holding the coin from the other side so that the shadow doesn't fall across the face. Maybe a lower ISO setting to reduce the graininess too. |
