A good closeup with nice color. The shadows look too dark and there's a hot spot near the top right. Working with layers, would tweak the contrast selectivly, by creating a copy of the original , doing the contrast settings there and then erasing away the too dark and too bright spots, then merging the layers and doing some more tweaking. Keep shooting :)

I would have been tempted to rotate this to keep both his ears in shot, and try to get a little more detail out of thos ewonderful eyes of his.

But that aside he looks lovely.

Overal a nice composition. Very nice focus and sharpness.

There something about the color / contast that I'm not sure about though. Maybe its just that the color of the eye on the left and much of the fur surrounding it blend together so much that it doesn't stand out in the shot.

This could be good if it was in focus, but only a couple of spikes appear in focus.
