I def think you turned some voters off with your stylized processing here, and actually looking back, I do think it may be a bit over-processed in areas of the face - but not by much. But what do I know, i always seem to overdo the processing myself... congrats on the personal best!

Nice idea for the challenge ... a sort of bionic-man photo. The realism of, capture of, and post processing of the hand is good, but the circuits look pasted on. Spoils the illusion. I think if you had put some dark shadowing around the edges of the circuits, it would have contributed to the illusion that the circuits were inside.
