FallHDRjpg.jpgby kleskiComment by jent: I will have to agree in liking the crop more than the original. I feel the reeds frame this photo a lot better when it is cropped like this.
In response to the HDR, I feel that it was done tastefully, but it looks like it is just a little more gray all the way around than I would expect, not sure exactly why that is (and I am fairly new to HDR). I don't believe this is a saturation issue because other parts look like they have great saturation. Hopefully that made sense, I am not sure how to better describe it. FallHDRjpg.jpgby kleskiComment by bassbone: This clearly looks more finished and purposeful than the original edit. Nicely done to capture the feel of a quiet fall day. The light tree trunks really provide wonderful accent points to the scene. Nicely done. |

FallHDRjpg.jpgby kleskiComment by FourPointX: i have to "third" the sentiment, i like this cropped version better as well. it's less "busy" than the original and just gives a much cleaner feel. |

FallHDRjpg.jpgby kleskiComment by OllyD: I also like the crop better then the original.
That`s more cleaned up after cropping, and it does not confuse so much as the original does... |

Nothing Gold Can Stayby kleskiComment by GiorgioBaruffi: well... after the Brent's words i have nothing to add... i completely agree with him, it is really too confused, my eyes is going on the shot like a ping pong ball.
with landscapes photography is quite common to think: "wow, what landscapes" and try to include everything in ours shots, wrong! better is to choice something that is the real subject with something else as contour...
(ehm, sorry for my bad english) |

Nothing Gold Can Stayby kleskiComment by skewsme: interesting landscape. somehow seems a little harsh. perhaps soften and reduce cyan/blue in whites of trees. add warm photo filter. just my HO. |
