the clarity and colors on this are spot on, and I, too am wonder what it is doing down this far.

If I had to pick one thing to quibble about, it would be the loss of detail in the pier. But, I had to look for something......

I gave this an "8". Great sky gradient. But, the horizon needs a minor CW rotation. Other commenters did not say anything about this. But, the score is too low overall for this image. Might be some silent lower votes due to the unlevel horizon issue.

Hey there neighbor (commenting on those above and below my entries)! Congrats on the high placement (top 25%) Kevin! Very lovely photo - the soft pastel colors are stunning and the 'starry' lights leading up to the lighthouse make me think of stars in the night sky. The pathway is a nice leading line that draws our attention to the lighthouse even more.
