Riveterby MarjoComment by Marjo: Thanks for the comments and votes. They are appreciated.
Jillz - this is what is called bench work. Actually, it's not really machinery. Just a pneumatic rivet gun and bucking bar. The piece being worked on is in a vise that is attached to my toolbox. Most of the time the work is done directly on the aircraft.
Also, I did try this in B&W as was suggested and it looked pretty good. Thanks for the suggestion. Message edited by author 2003-07-01 15:40:41. |

Living in the Countryby MarjoComment by KevinRiggs: Good action. I would prefer a more shallow depth of field so that the running horse is in sharper focus while the barn and horse in the background are less clear. It looks like you shot this at a high ISO as the hooves/legs are frozen even while the tilt of the horse implies motion.
Good subject and a good angle for showing musclature on the move. |

Riveterby MarjoComment by David Ey: I like how you chose to not show the entire worker....makes the shot more interesting I think |

Riveterby MarjoComment by jillz: I've never seen a riveter before. It's neat to see how it's done. I would have liked to see more of the person doing the riveting and more of the machine itself. |

Riveterby MarjoComment by mcrochip: It shows what he's doing, and it meets the challenge because of it. Good shot. |
