Nineteen Hundred Fifty-Oneby MarjoComment by Marjo: Thanks for the votes and comments. I appreciate the input.
This is our 1951 John Deere tractor going uphill(the fence posts on the right are level and true to the horizon). I thought it looked like the past because of the surroundings and age of the tractor. I was standing on the second from the top fence rail to get the shot because I wanted to show the hill in the foreground and to be looking down on the horses instead of up at their behinds!
I enjoyed framing the shot the way I wanted it...instead of cropping after the fact. Good Challenge!
I am not sure that I understand a couple of the comments.

The Grumpy Toadby MarjoComment by kyrielle: Hee. I love this guy - he's great. (And suitably grumpy-looking!) I don't know that the negative space really creates the "wow!", though. It seems more just to be there - I felt the image looked stronger when moved so that the toad more of the frame. |

The Grumpy Toadby MarjoComment by StevePax: He does look grumpy. The negative space doesn't seem to add to the image here, though. Rather, I feel like it detracts a little. 6. |
