This is excellent! I LOVE the perspective, first of all (wide angle lens?) and I really love how well you controlled the DOF/focus. This gives such personality to the little guy! Love it in B&W, too. (You may want to revisit your processing if you plan to print this - there's some banding in the sky, particularly above the tree and the head/ear - that's apparent on my monitor.)

I love the detail, but not so much the halo around the bird's head. Either this was oversharpened, or there was some HDR done on it, either way the halo is a bit distracting.

Ummm... anatomically speaking, that's a very odd place to hang a basket and completely inaccurate for a turtle (to my knowledge). Couldn't pay me enough to be one of the occupants.
