Reality sucksby Yo_SpiffComment by ThingFish: A grim landscape indeed and very effectively captured and processed to confront the viewer with this unpleasant reality. 10 |

'Vetteby Yo_SpiffComment by dswann: This has always been one of my favorite automotive shots. The blue tones and the abstract shapes are awesome. Top it off with the killer sharp Corvette emblem and you have a top notch photo. |

Reality sucksby Yo_SpiffComment by RKT: A modern landscape...this photograph just proves that there are pictures everywhere, beautiful pictures everywhere. Yes, it's garbage, but it's the light that lends the appeal. And the crescendo of the treeline is a nice accent. A welcome break from ultraviolet skies and crunchy grass. |

Reality sucksby Yo_SpiffComment by jjstager2: Great visual statement underscored by the title. Great decision on the use of B & W. A good photojournalist shot. |

Reality sucksby Yo_SpiffComment by MaryO: Yes, it does, sometimes. Not all landscapes are pretty, particularly not when manmade. Perspective and B&W presentation work well. Might have cropped tighter so the trees (weeds?) progressed up and out of the frame, but the abrupt and visually disconcerting transition is probably more appropriate for the subject. Nice work. |
