I don't know - while the "how worn is it" factor can be a problem if you're looking to put it to use, I still like them to look a bit battered - too pristine and you just don't get hit with the sense of age and history as much.

Very nice! You and Karen are shooting these against a white backdrop with great lighting... These shots look so good!

Well, nothing terribly noteworthy except you bought it on your honeymoon! :) The whole APS thing seems like quite the fiasco. Completely passed me by - I had always used 35mm.

WOW! We were living in the States in the early 70's and I still have the Sears 'own brand' version of this camera now. I haven't run a film through it since I was 12 but I suspect since it lacks any sophisticated electronics it would still probably take a shot or two. That is providing I could locate a 126 cartridge to load in the first place:)

Ken Rockwell has an interesting (and I think correct) explanation.

The Amateur Photo System, or APS, was an attempt to replace the failed Disc film format of the 1980s,

which was created to replace the failed 110 film format of the 1970s,

which was created to replace the pretty good 126 Instamatic format of the 1960s.

Quite an interesting read at the above link. A format created with the intention of shoving it down the throat of the industry and consumer so more money could be made.
