Having said that, I also need to say that while it's a GREAT piece for DPC's "Eye Candy Love", I do agree with you that your previous entry (shown in your notes above) DOES take the cake! It's pure and raw emotion and joy that you've captured! I can FEEL her enthusiasm and child's joy. Unfortunately, that's not what "sells" here in DPCland and that's a shame. I think you are evolving in recognizing the difference between what emotes something from a viewer and what's considered "good photography" in DPC.

Congrats on BOTH shots as they both have their purposes and audiences. :)

It's rather pretty isn't it? Too bad they are so destructive. There's heaps of them here and being an introduced species a lot of our small native species are suffering.

Wow, your foxes look a good deal darker than the ones here. They're also ALL OVER THE PLACE here, and very wise to city life. They'll look for traffic before crossing roads and everything. Raccoons, on the other hand... have a hard time of cars.

The ones here look more like that. Some older females do get some of the black, but not quite like the one you've got here.
