Great image, I love the perspective. And even though the drum is front and center, the drummers smile pulls my eye to him as well. The grain also adds to the image, fulfilling the challenge well.

Evening shot with the light behind me. Some tonemapping using Topaz adjust and the tonal contrast in Color Efex. Some selective editing to make the path stand out a bit more. Some of the glamour glow from color efex, applied a bit heavier in the foliage areas. And a slight dark vignette to help guide the eye where I wanted it to go.

I think it's the light that takes it over the top. Wonderful depth shown off by some nice contrast, very nice tones. The leading line of a path never hurts. It's beautifully processed as well. Great photo.
