A Shoehorned Entryby Yo_SpiffComment by JuliBoc: I wonder if triptych is what was intended by this challenge, or if the new rules allow this type of composite. We'll see. Meanwhile it's a funny idea. |

A Shoehorned Entryby Yo_SpiffComment by BHuseman: I will give your title some credit.
I don't like the three frames here, and I remember that being a specific question that was asked in the rules announcement thread. For that I am dissapointed to see it in the image.
I will not vote on that though, as that is for the SC to determine.
As far as the image goes, I think you needed to show the shoe horn in the first frame. I am not really seeing a lot about this image that makes it pop. I am going to have to give it a 5. |

A Shoehorned Entryby Yo_SpiffComment by inshaala: this is gonna get DQ'd, it was expressly said that multiple frames - tryptics - are not allowed. Interesting take on it, and i like the pun. |

Through steamy buttered glass, a treat awaits.by Yo_SpiffComment by Melethia: A decent sized gap between your final average and what the commenters average vote is indicates you've appealed well to a segment of the crowd. In many instances, that's my personal goal, since a lot of what I shoot doesn't have mass appeal. This is an extremely creative and different view of "popcorn" and something I would have voted high (had I voted this challenge.) It's clearly popcorn, it's well composed, technicals are good. The only nit is the red object which grabs the eye but doesn't resolve into anything identifiable. I really like the single popped kernel that seems lighter than all the rest. |
