It's a stop-motion shot of a drop of water splattering on a stalagmite in a cave. Takes a fraction of a second for the drop to fall. The rock is built up by these drops, what you see took few thousand years to build. So it's both very fast and very slow speeds in the same subject.
Oh, and the lighting is limited to however I can bounce the flash from the rocks around, without the flash (or the flashlight which is useless for photo) it's pitch-dark. |
