7 Marriette.jpgby ErikVComment by Paul: It's obviously a pretty good shot butI think I'd like to see for contrast in her face - the fill flash has obliterated potentially dramatic shadows. I took the liberty of trying to edit the image to show what I mean:
I hope you don't mind - a picture is worth a thousand words (well, maybe 20!)

7 Marriette.jpgby ErikVComment by LVicari: No I don't think you need to lighten her face anymore. Overall its a good image. I think the flash is too obvious. With that amount of sunlight, I think I would have used a reflector to bounce the light back and give it a more natural look. IMO |

6 Tina.jpgby ErikVComment by Paul: The climbing wall makes for a strange backdrop, but there is no doubting the quality of the portrait. |

5 Melanie.jpgby ErikVComment by Paul: I think this would work very well in a magazine - quite paparazzi-like. A bit harshly lit for me but works well for that genre of image. |

6 Tina.jpgby ErikVComment by LVicari: Much better lighting on this one. Shade is always your friend! A tighter crop might make a stronger image. Very Well done. |
