You ought to try to get over to Marblehead. The lighthouse is surrounded by a bunch of big boulders and a couple of trees. That's what this photo reminded me of, with the lone tree up against the water. I love seeing all the snow on the dark rocks.

You remind me that at the borders or interfaces one usually finds interesting subjects. Land / sea. Earth / sky. Liquid / arid. To put oneself in such a place usually leads to interesting subject matter.

This totally rocks! There are a few things I would change, if you don't mind me mentioning... The composition.. less water and more sky. even if you have to get on the ground to get a more upward shot. and the sun behind the bridge...use your select tool and select the where it is brighter in the clouds, click on feather(5 or so) and than bring the brightness down until it matches the rest of the tones. hmm..not to good at explaining PS work in typing. Hope this helps.
