02 - Bridge and Birdsby ErikVComment by SandyP: Erik! Wow! This is amazing. Did you bag all those birds and turn them loose exactly at the right moment to capture this perfect photo? :) The sheer number of them, placed right over that bridge is so beautiful. The black and white processing adds drama and beauty! Did I say Wow??? Wow!

03 - Pair of Seagullsby ErikVComment by SandyP: This is so good! I love the high contrast and I think all the texture makes this so interesting. It reminds me a little of those old prints where the texture makes its own design and if you stared at it long enough a beautiful shape would pop out 3-dimensionally. It is a very cool composition.

03 - Pair of Seagullsby ErikVComment by twmax: I was at the beach the other day getting some bird shots, and know how difficult it is to get one this good. It's beautiful! The focus is perfect, and the shallow DOF makes the subjects really stand out. Also, the B&W conversion is excellent. |

03 - Pair of Seagullsby ErikVComment by SherwinJames: Nice action capture here. This is a tough shot, since the background is no busy. A shallower DOF helps in these cases, but those lenses (long range with wide apature) are expensive (at least for me). Nice shot overall. |
