He is very clear and strong in this image. She seems less strong an a bit hidden. Could be the fact that so much of him is seen to the little bit of her. Its a cute lovely image, but it also looks like she is looking at the brim of his hate. Barely able to skim the eyes. The background is nice, it looks good, and the separation is nice. Just for me it does not have a strong wow factor. Anyone outside their friends and family i do not think will hold this image as high.

Nice skin tones and especially great job on the expressions. Too often portraits look canned and forced, but this is very natural, so your candid approach succeeded. The blown collar is a little distracting, but it's minor. I think I agree with cutting off his hat, it seems to me that she might look really weird with only a little bit of her neck showing.
