It looks horrendously over-sharpened to me. I don't understand why more people haven's said so ... I think the fence is super and the framing is great ... I just wish that the white "IN YOUR FACE" over sharpening artifacts along the wire wasn't there for your sake. Maybe you could try this monochrome treatment with the original image without so much over-sharpening?

Really nice job with the focus and technical part of this picture with one exception. It seems as if if the composition/cropping choice places the lizard too far to the left/top. Maybe it is just too much dirt down below. It was a good choice to leave room on the Right side of the frame as this adds to the 'searching' impression.

You used the curve of his body nicely and I like the somewhat shallow depth of field. The colors are muted but that looks to be somewhat characteristic of the lizard.

Not a bad score in a somewhat low scoring challenge. Without the title, the searching connection would have been more difficult to make...with the title it works. My guess is that although no one mentioned it, the composition hurt you the most in the scoring.

I love these wispy little flowers. They are so photogenic. And they are so beautiful in black and white. This has such a pretty use of the bokeh circles of light too.
