Wow... this is so simple yet so moody... I really like it. I'm not sure if I like the color cast or whether black and white might work better. Still a well conceived and executed image.

Dont get the title, but that is just me. Its a photography contest so in that sense, it does notmatter.
A crisp, clean, great capture of the flower. The compositon of this is really very good, and I think something that took a little thought and arranging................It works really well.
Maybe the green in the leaves is a touch overdone, but the purple of the flower is brilliant and right.........just nudging the green sat down a touch might have removed the slight fake look on some areas of the leaves, but thats a minor thing.
The border, honestly, its a bit of nothing. Looks more to me like you wanted a little extra black space, so went with a purple 1pxline to be the least obtrusive. I think a thinker line (2px) and them being a little closer to the flower, giving wider black bands, would have finished it off a little better..
But, minor things. A really good image...........

Very nice idea and execution. I like the colour scheme. The picture, however very simple, tells a story at the same time. An emotional story.
