If we could use dodge and burn you could darken the faces of the 2 on the left. Great shot. Very interesting to look at.

The black and white really helps to set a mood to this shot. I think another option (though not necessarily better) would be to show just the little boy and the barber -- that is an awesome expression on his face.

The long shadows and yellowish cast were caused by the sun being low on the horizon because of it being late in the day (the start of the show was only a couple hours away). The fire marshall wouldn't permit me to use a flash (and I wasn't about to argue with him.) It was fun to see the stuff up-close and talk to the fireworks crew. And I got a few nice shots of the show (from a regular viewing distance, not at the launch site) a few hours later.

Very nicely done, b & w is so perfect for this image, works wonderfully, couldn't image it having any impact in color like it does in B & W.
