Love the atmospheric quality of this that comes from the subdued light on the subject and the bright light in the upper corner. Right on topic!. Love the lighting on the bass especially. Very fine image.

This is wonderful! I love the emotion on his face, only problem I would mention is the light seems a little blown out to me, perhaps it would be more powerful with that portion cropped out, still a very powerful and emotional image in my opinion.

And it seems you really suffered for this in the casting of votes. Too bad. If you shot in raw, you could bring the shadows up some and acheive a very natural silhouette, even by purist standards.
