A nice conversion to b/w. The blur looks as if it was created during post processing, which works nicely for isolating the subject, but doesn't really seem to fit with the spirit of the challenge.

Really like the promise you shot has but I would like to see it with out some much jpg artefacts. By that I that the tones do not smoothly move into each other there is a bit of a step pattern.
