To me, this is portraying self hatred or anger because of the person breaking what looks like a mirror. Perhaps having the person's reflection in the mirror would have been more dramatic. The photo technically is good...focused well and good composition. The blanching of the skin on the knuckles is good, making the picture believable anger.
