The idea is fine, and the interlaying images shows some skill and thought, but there is no composition at all. Would have been great if you had simply centered the objects.

The outline of the LP disappears on my work monitor, which is reasonably calibrated but still a junky monitor. Everything else is pretty good except that the CD is kinda grainy, but I think that is ALL the monitor, and not your pic. I think this is a case of a tiny part of the pic being missing for a lot of people and thus they think it is badly composed. Of course, the other version would have had a lot more outline :-( nards656
