Lemon Twist by karmatComment by dsidwell: Nice contrasts and shades of yellow. Seems a bit off balance, which is okay, but I don't see any reason why it should be. I love the use of blues beneath that provide lots of color interest here. |

Lemon Twist by karmatComment by bod: Wow. Fantastic detail & texture on the lemon. Not sure about the blue pebbles, but the composition of the lemon is perfect. Great shot, well done. |

Rhythm in Blueby karmatComment by kiwiness: It's a great shot and a wonderful idea. The only thing that really bothers me is the focus, it just doesn't seem sharp enough. The lighting is perfect and the black background just melts into the blue. |

Lemon Twist by karmatComment by JPR: Very nice. This is one of my favorite lemons this challenge. I would have liked to see the whole lemon or maybe just the right third of the picture by itself. The choice of the blue glass/stones is good but the reflections in them are somwhat distracting to my eye especially under the lemon on the left side. Nice job. 6. |

Lemon Twist by karmatComment by jaam: The sharpness and DOF of this picture is superb. Not sure why the blue glass? pebbles do it - but somehow they just offset the white fesh and make the yellow peel stand out against the the black. |

Rhythm in Blueby karmatComment by jmsetzler: nice work... the softness of this image seems to add a nice element to the already abstract nature of the shot. - setzler |

Love -- Mah Jongg Styleby karmatComment by FranziskaLang: Challenge met. Great use of the candy hearts! I think you arranged them in a heartshaped format, but that's not easily visible. Instead, it looks like the pile of hearts is a little uneven. Did you try a more traditional arrangement? As for the technical quality, it is good, I like tha the ones at the bottom aren't quite in focus, adds to the feeling of depth. The red background and the border works well here. |
