Prowlin'by karmatComment by kdkaboom: God, what a beautiful animal! Nice capture here, even with the bamboo (which at first I found annoying, now I dig it)... great sharpness in the face. Very NatGeo :) |

Prowlin'by karmatComment by dsidwell: Very nice tiger image! The bamboo really helps, and your patience at waiting until the cat was behind one of them paid off nicely. I don't know if it was possible, but the zoo-structure of concrete/stone does ruin the illusion of wildness, though this is important only insomuch that you were aiming for that, if you were at all. Lovely tones, colors and focus. 8 |

Prowlin'by karmatComment by soccerdad: This is a good image, but the background looks a bit staged. It also looks like you didn't have as much control of the lighting as you would like. That said, I love the expression capture on the tiger. I would not want to be on the other end of that stare. |

Prowlin'by karmatComment by Sonifo: Great shot. You captured the personality of the tiger well here. |

Prowlin'by karmatComment by scrum8: Intimidating. I liked to see is a bit lighter. The bamboo forms an interesting background, and was wondering if we could see more of it without distracting from subject. |

Prowlin'by karmatComment by Olyuzi: Nice capture of color and wonderful clarity. I like how the background turns black. Only thing is the paws were cut off. Still, a vey good image. 8 |

Prowlin'by karmatComment by BobsterLobster: Wonderful shot, the head is nice and sharp. Shame the dof couldn't include the reast of the body. I love the bamboo. I'd definitely have gone for a tighter crop... the head is too far to the left for my taste in this shot. The foreground concrete thing really needs to go as well, it shouts 'zoo'! The perfect shot for me would have been a longer lens, with the head, upper legs and bamboo in portrait orientation. 7 |
