Parallel Swingby karmatComment by colorcarnival: another excellent shot. i decided towards the end of the season that I wanted to try and get more batting shots with the ball in them. of course about 99% of the time I didn't do it right. This is great! |

Successful Sports Photographyby karmatComment by karmat: I was standing at the fence with my lens hood less than an inch from the fence. I would put the hood *on* the fence but errant balls would hurt me. :) |

Successful Sports Photographyby karmatComment by colorcarnival: That is excellent! How far back from the fence were you standing? Usually I use my 70-300 to get the pitcher at the mound and get close to the fence so I am shooting thru a gap. I have not been able to get good action shots like this at the plate from this perspective. |
