It's a sweet shot, lovely light and composition, and I would say there is much candor in the subject's smile. I would not like to pronounce one way or another on the photo's candidity - the thought of it makes me grumpy and ruins my appreciation of this shining little light beam. Had I voted this would have been at my higher end.

This is darling but with him looking straight at the camera smiling, it doesn't have that candid feel, but maybe he was just grinning cause he was so happy. :) I like it.
