Nice group of photos with ordinary subjects that go beyond ordinary seeing. Each one of these is a fresh look at something we encounter daily, but may not even glance at on our way past. It's nice to be reminded to stop and really look every once in a while. Thanks.

You'll have to admit - not the easiest subject to photograph nicely. I like the lines in the swing, and the counterpoint lines of the wall. The plastic around the chains looks a bit weird in spots. A nicely placed colorful pillow or jacket might have added some interest, while covering the wires in the background.

For me this is quite dark in the upper right corner and a bit dark overall. I love the light reflecting off the shiny leaves, and the green / purple combinations, combined with the rust of other leaves, brown & green grass.

Dog is too dark for me - loses a lot of detail. Not sure how you could go lighter with the background already looking like it is on the edge. Cute dog, and nice, simple shot. Composition is very pleasing.

I like your tight crop on this - almost looks like Mickey Mouse laying down. Nice detail with the stones, twigs & dirt. Strong lines with the raised part of the cover. Nice harmony between the dark brown of the metal and light tan of the dirt. But, the question must be asked - what is a Nitary? Where they keep the nits? ;-p
