'Til the Storm Passes Overby karmatComment by Teafran: A beautiful image marred by a soft focus. The very dramatic sky and sun light on the copse is very effective. A little more time with properly choosing ISO, aperature and shutter speed would have made this a ribbon contender. A good entry into the challenge. |

Holding It Togetherby karmatComment by EstimatedEyes: I liked the technicals on this a lot, but ultimately gave you a 5 because there just wasn't enough interest in the subject to carry me higher. As a detail shot in a photo essay, it would have been perfect; as a stand alone it didn't grab me. |
