Diamondsby karmatComment by Leo: I like this with the mostly silhouetted duck, the sparkles of the sun reflection, and the patterns in the water, but it seems over sharpened? On my screen the outline of the duck and the dark areas of the water seems pixilated and has a lot of jaggies. Otherwise a nice pic. |

Almostby karmatComment by DrOmega: Focus is to soft on the eyes (Where I expect it to be). Plus it does not realy meet the challange - A closer crop would have made the symmetry more prominent. |

Simplicityby karmatComment by Covert_Oddity: Don't really like the lighting here, I think you have some front on lighting which makes a lot of the shot feel very harsh, especially in the hanging branch. |

Simplicityby karmatComment by AbeSapien2: The wispy flow of the stream or waterfall at the top reinforces the twig on the right which then leads the eye to the leaves on the rock. These are brown and not brilliantly coloured anymore but they do represent that stage of Autumn where things go back to the Earth. All the elements are simple yet contained in this photograph, leading to a circle which flows harmoniously together. The viewing is a pleasure. |

Sadnessby karmatComment by Ristyz: I remember the commercial and reference it all the time. It had a great impact on me (also backed up my good, solid, caring parents that reinforced the land respect)

Sadnessby karmatComment by glad2badad: I remember that commercial. :-)
Unfortunately, the lesson has not been learned by all yet - it's amazing what a handful of disrespectful and careless people can do. Every community has them, and collectively it adds up. An exasperating fight for sure. :-/
This reminds me of a challenge idea I had recently also - along the lines of the environment, scars, pollution, etc... I'll have to write it up here soon.
