Good job on the lighting and post processing. A very clean image. The composition seems a bit static (straight up and down). Maybe you could have a chat with the fireworks people about that...

The silhouetted man is a nice contrast to the background and a good fit to the challenge. The whites seem a little overly bright, but not by much. This has a nice swirl feeling with the eye movement which I believe helps the photo.
