This man is out of control! I'm sure he must have brought a lot of business to this the store. I know this challenge is basic editing but, I would have liked to seen his face in the same tonal range as the rest of his flesh tones. Good Luck! 8

great character study. I like the story presented with the missing shoe. I wish the highlights in his jeans weren't o blown out, but it is a great image in any event.

I really like this - and dfeinitely think the guy's bod is "extraordinary" - but I almost wish there was more lighting on his face. Overall though, a very good image. - 9

Too strange.
If the shot was pulled back a little bit more I could get a better idea of what was going on. The motion blur on the arms does not work much for me. Actually, the very first thng to catch the eye is the shadow on his chest and the bulging pecs making the first impression of a woman's breast almost exposed. The title works well.

Great job!!! Is he looking at me? I love the sepia tone on this, although the original was excellent too. Such a human interest photo! Great composition and contrast!

This is interesting, I swear I wrote a comment last night but I guess I forgot to click on "Post" when I was done.

As you can see from my comments above, I did take this in the late afternoon around 5:30. The sun was setting and it cast a nice orange/red light. I compared both color, slightly desturated and b/w images before I decided on b/w. I felt it had more impact as a modified contrast b/w than if it had any color.

As far as showing more of the dock area, if I did that then you would see the other dock numbers and the ground which was not interesting. In fact, I even played with the idea of showing even less of the dock door and only the numbers but then some folks might not know what the partial dock door was so I showed it all.

Doors #1 and #3 are not visible because #1 is out of frame completely and the support pillar blocks #3. I guess you had to be very creative and imagine the other doors there instead of me showing all 3 of them.

Thanks to those who left comments for me!

This is a pretty tough scene to make interesting in B&W. I might try color and shooting it in the late afternoon to get the perfect light.
