I think this photo was underrated by voters. Fits the challenge, excellent job with exposure, the skin tones are good without blowing out all that white. Maybe needed a little more context rather than the implied studio setting?

It is well lit and sharp but I'm not a fan of posed shots like this, especially in this context where there's an opportunity to to be a lot more expressive and emotive.

I think the subject is perfect for the challenge, more of a part of a costume than a casual set of footwear. I think the centering is good, and low crop adds to the mystery, maybe more leg won't hurt.

I think some flaws are in the background. There is no atmosphere, and the floor and background are bland. Maybe a street would be metter, or sidewalk curb. I think the photo scored what I would rate it. Good production though.
