Perhaps the childs name is Suzie? Not sure from the photo obviously.

As far as images go for me, I like to understand the story by viewing the image. For me as I see this, I can't really understand what you're trying to portray. If it's a portrait, then the location seems a bit off - the child doesn't appear to be overly thrilled with where she is at.

It appears as though there may be a person to your left hand side that the child is trying to get to - if you were using that person to get the child's attention, may I suggest you get them behind you around shoulder level so that the child's eyes are facing the camera more.
