if the smoke had shown up more, it would greatly improve the picture.

Sorry about the guitar ;-) Good idea. Background colors don't seem to enhance the guitar but detract from it.

The background (blue one especially) - a bad choice of color. Something darker with more light on the guitar corpse would be better IMO.
