Early Morning Riseby drewhosickComment by Rino63: the composition is good and i like the idea. the dark area on the low side is too much big. clone out the small red point on the middle-left and the last pole piece. |

I hear the train's a comingby drewhosickComment by cpanaioti: I am very fond of this type of image. However, I feel that the grass takes up too much space in the image. I think ~1/3 of the image would have been plenty. This would allow you to show more of the train.
Good choice of DOF. I like the colour and shapes represented by the train, just would like to see more of it unobstructed by the grass. |

Bearries. I see Bearries in the bushby drewhosickComment by Haneck: The bear is nicely hidden, but the image itself isn't... well... It's a little washed out. Maybe some more contrast would help with that. And some of the details are sort of smeared and blurry. But excellent try! This might be cool in black and white. Hope the bear went after those berries and didn't get curious about you!:) |

I hear the train's a comingby drewhosickComment by dtremain: Postcard? I'm thinking that too much of the picture is out of focus. Very nice composition and capture of the grain in the foreground. If the train was moving, a great capture and memorable moment. |

Bearries. I see Bearries in the bushby drewhosickComment by Bruce_the_Robert: I imagine you're getting killed for this (everyone wondering where Waldo is and focused on the bear), but it's such a great capture. I hope Waldo is out of sight and inching slowly away, mama bear is sure to be nearby! Great capture and presentation here, though the brightness of the bark is a bit distracting when I look for too long (which I keep doing because the bear is so cute!). |
