I like the composition of this. The pipe is a bit weird for me. A bit more colour and maybe a dimmer reflection could make it better.

I just don't feel like I am seeing a reflection. It looks like I am seeing into the cottage. The focal point is not the glass in this piece for me.

Shooting moving water in HDR (bracketing 5-7 shots) would be difficult, even wind-blown trees look strange when shooting HDRs. The only way to possibly do this would be to create a single image HDR in Photomatix and hope for a good outcome.

This is a perfect candidate for HDR. Your setting sun has quite obviously overwhelmed your sensor, so doing a combination of exposures to maintain that would be perfect here.
