Bricks (Week 7)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: Nice work Luana, perhaps if the stone was a little sharper? and think I'd have preferred all of the arch in the shot? Simple yet complex, another fine spot :) |

Dennis (Week 6)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: Nice composition and not your average pet portrait pont of view :) Since the only real detail in this shot is the dogs face I would have liked it more detailed (might be my dark monitor though). |

Up stairs (Week 5)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: The detail in the lit walls/ceiling is great and we are led nicely up the stairs to the light source. I agree about trying portrait and maybe landscape with the top of the stairs less centred. Am sure this would look much better as a large print where the detail would really show itself in the shadows. |

Gates (Week 4)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: I think if you hadn't got the light right on the gates this may have been a poor shot. Almost perfect symmetry and we are led nicely into the body of the church - nice spot :) |

Prayer (Week 3)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: Am torn between 'is she too central' or 'central is right' on this shot and think either would work. I do agree with Sandy (must stop doing that) in thinking this is probably your best work to date. Isn't it strange that so many people are thinking WWII? Excellent shot Luana :) |

Fields (Week 2)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: Hmmm a little one sided for me and think I'd have preferred this cropped to just as the dark areas became lighter and lose a fair amount of the foreground. Some dodging and burning of the sky would make this more dramatic I think. |

Lincoln cathedral (Week 1)by booboo_goonComment by Ecce_Signum: I agree with the earlier commenters and feel the image takes on a different dimention when losing the 2 white line sin the foreground. I'd be interested in your shot settings (hint for further submissions) as viewing them help me almost as much as the shot itself! |
