Also, its impressive that you still have a image with contrast despite the lack of extremes. |

- A Developing Skyline -by andrewtComment by shutterbug8: CONGRATS ON 5TH.Great image, I love it and choose it as a fav. Although I did not vote in this challenge...as I glanced over the entries, this one stood out. Now that it is over, I was very disappointed to see how many are giving out 1s 2s and 3s to "what IMO look like winners" This could have pulled in a ribbon had the low scorers surpressed their jealousy or whatever was going on with them. I repeat the comment of hahn23. This stood out as one to meet the challenge exactly. Great control (avoidance)of whites and blacks. Had I voted, this would have received a 9 or even 10 from me, and I give out only a few of these per challenge if any sometimes. But I will not give out a 1-2 and rarely a 3. If a photo is an apparent smack in the face to the challenge or voting community, I do not give it a low score, I just don't vote on it. But again that is an entrant that seems to be going out of their way be to go against the grain or rules etc.etc. I see too many great or good shots ending up with these 1s AND 2s. Yours did not deserve this. |
