repriseby david_cComment by SoulJance: I really like the interesting foreground and the colours. I am going to take a mark off as your horizon is not level, well as far as I can tell |

Encroaching upon Architectureby david_cComment by bobnospum: I like the color palette here with all the muted tones. The sky and building (HDR?) go great together. The composition may have worked better centered, as putting the building off center look awkward to me since htere is not added on the left by doing so. The high power lines are kind of ugly, but I am not sure if the rules would let you clone out that much. |

Encroaching upon Architectureby david_cComment by Steef: i wonder if anyone is commenting about how they can't quite put their finger on it but it seems tilted. they're probably throwing around the word "distracting" as they oft do. you probably spent a lot of time rotating it left and right, but i don't even know if it's possible to fully "fix" this kind of thing.
anyway, this shot is awesome. it's an extremely creative take on the challenge, and your processing is amazing. 10 from me. |

Encroaching upon Architectureby david_cComment by geinafets: This looks like HDR, but luckily, it's not too overdone to make it grey and dull; the colors are still nice and bright! The building looks very beautiful, old, and calm, but the distortion gives off a feeling of strength and arrogance, which I think doesn't work with this particular building. Maybe try a longer lens (the reflection in the windows make me think you had plenty of room to back up) or a tilt-shift lens? The reflections in the windows are gorgeous, by the way, especially the inclusion of the flag. |
