I really like the choice to put this against a black background - and nice control on the lighting (fill flash, yes?) to make sure everything is visible. I like the way the colors (especially the bright red of the strawberries) stand out, as well.

Chocolate and Strawberries! YUM!!! ;) But this shot leaves me wanting more, if one of the strawberries had been dipped already and the background blends too mcuh with the pot for the fondue. The chocolate spread all over the plate is also a bit distracting. A 7 to start

The blue fondue pot is too dark for the background. Either using a lighter colored pot or a littler colore backgound would help. The presentation and setup is nice and interesting.

This is a good idea, and I like the dark background to enhance the romantic mood, but I think it may be too dark, The shaft of the fork gets lost and leads my eye to the dark area of the background on the left The sides of the bowl and support blend to much with the background

Since I don't know what this is, i guess I'm a little confused. I find myself wanting to see the top of the candle thing. Maybe just since I don't know how this works. I see the apples and strawberries, and they look good. I'm not seeing the purpose of the knife, but I find the red end to be slightly distracting, as it is noticable, and out of focus. The setup is nice, and I like how it's centered. Your focus is good on the candle and strawberries. Overall, interesting, but confusing to someone who doesn't know what they are looking at.
