Communionby ellamayComment by Shelley: Beautiful shot. I like the outline of the trees and their placement in the frame. |

Communionby ellamayComment by Neil: Nice shot; it would have been cool if you could have taken it with the water "aglow" as it sometimes is just around that time (maybe earlier.) |

Communionby ellamayComment by GeneralE: Beautiful tones similar to a couple I've shot recently, but your's has much less noise. Excellent sharpening to maintain all the twigs without haloing. |

Communionby ellamayComment by Neuferland: How pretty, the trees, the sunset, the quiet, peaceful feeling. Ah, can I come pull up a chair? This is a wonderfully composition and the corpping is verll well done, there seems to be some lines in the upper right corner on my screen, not sure where they are from but it's not too distracting. At first glance this shot looks a bit dark so it scored a 7 but after coming back and really looking it goes up to a 9, a tad brighter on the right and you would have scored a 10 :) |

Communionby ellamayComment by zeuszen: What a poignant, apt and well-considered title for this rich and yet so minimal capture. Without this harmonizing addition (title), the image would place itself only a distance away from cliché. With it, the viewer is encouraged to consider him or herself.
Colour range and contrast are superb. The crop is a little tight (vertically, for what could be a panorama) and a little high for my sense of a perfected composition. The horizon, also, reveals a very slight counterclockwise tilt. Having noted that, this image remains one of two of my favourites in this challenge. I say "Grace". |
