Beautiful contrast between the black background and the reds and could probably benefit by increasing the contrast more. BTW, the title is VERY appropriate but it took me a long time to get it ... until I realized the flowers have these lip like structures and they appear to be singing to their hearts' content! Wonderful capture! I just wish there is a way to highlight these lips more because they really make the picture!

A difficult balance (the narrow depth of field vs. the retundity of the subject and the pedantic demands for sharpening such an image).

I love the (unusual, deductive) choice of b and w and the formal but precise title. What crisp and minimal harmony. It suggests a marked style of shooting, to me.
