wow, great shot... I wish that the entire tree were captured, and that the water on the right wasn't quite as blown, but other than that it is absoultely a perfect shot.

if you bump the contrast just a weeeee bit up and the lightness down a weeee bit you'll lose those little highlights on the horizon. I'd like to see it with full-on dark/light contrast between the elements. nice thought adding the benches in. Pedro

You'll need a well calibrated monitor to enjoy this entry in its full glory. The subtle lighting is very apt for this range of deep reds, indeed. As a macro, the magnification of detail is remarkable and the degree of depth of field synchronizes perfectly with the focus achieved here.

This entry strikes me not only as a technically accomplished piece, but also as a mature and well-rounded photo for crisp interest it evolves from a subject most can be expected to be familiar with.
